The message below was delivered to all families today 1/17/14

Good Evening,

This is Scott Loehr, Center Joint Unified School District Superintendent. I am calling today to alert you to a situation that occurred today at 2:45 as our middle school students were walking home.

A group of students were approached by an individual around Redwater and Northam. The individual showed the students a weapon. Everyone is safe, but I am calling to alert you to this situation. The individual is described as being:

1) a white male with strawberry blonde hair
2) 18-19 years old
3) approximately 6'3"
4) wearing a black beanie and gray sweatshirt
